	Cap-and-Trade Passes in the House of Representatives

In a historic vote in the United States House of Representatives cap-and-trade legislation, the American Clean Energy and Security Act (H.R. 2454), was narrowly passed by a vote of 219-212. All three House members from Nebraska opposed the bill. With its passage, the House version of the measure will now move on to the Senate where once again grassroots support will be vital to ensure Nebraska's public power message is heard.
